JAMIE TARRANT: Exercise Physiologist - Personal Trainer - Kenshusei Lecturer
Jamie Tarant is an Accredited
Exercise Physiologist with the Australian Association
for Exercise and Sports Science, holding
a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement)
and a Graduate Diploma in Education.
Whilst having this university background, Jamie
is more than an academic, he is out there in the
field running his own personal training business
in Melbourne. In fact Jamie estimates that he
has conducted over 7000 personal training sessions
in the past 10 years! So he knows the ins
and outs of training the everyday client.
Jamie (yes, brother to AFL footballer Chris Tarrant) has worked with a variety of clients including
cardiac, musculoskeletal, metabolic and
neuromuscular patients, atheletes including
AFL players and Olympic Sprint kayakers, and
corporate clients including National Australia
Bank. He has developed program initiatives for
corporate groups and assisted individuals in a
consulting role as they set up their own PT businesses.
Jamie is no stranger himself to the demands of elite fitness programming, being a former
scholarship holder with the Victorian Institute of Sport in Sprint Kayaking, and has been an
educator and course presenter in fitness for a
number of years.
His expertise is now being utilized in most of Kenshusei’s fitness and coaching industry workshops including :
