The martial arts industry has undergone many changes in the past 50years! However, none of them more important than the current changes to the national qualifications for martial arts instructors. The International College of Kenshusei is one of the few training organisations up to date in complying with these changes.”

I have personally completed the qualification offered by the “ International College of Kenshusei” and in so doing, now recommend the qualification to all instructors of the “Australian Kodokan Judo Association” as a national professional standard. I in fact encourage all forward thinking martial arts instructors to call ICK to discuss the positive impact that this new government recognised qualification will have on your organisation.

Since starting in the martial arts 32 years ago I have witnessed many changes, the most notable is the qualification courses provided by the International College of Kenshusei. Education in the martial arts should be a prime concern to everyone and keeping this in mind, we are recommending to all Instructors within our Association that they bring their already professional standards up another step by completing qualifying courses through ICK.
I, and others, have completed qualifications through the ICK that are nationally recognised and were more than happy with the professional way courses were conducted.

For more than twenty years I have operated full time Taekwondo training through Hall’s Taekwondo centres in Victoria. During that time the Martial Arts industry has changed significantly; developing more professional operating methods and standards. Hall’s Taekwondo offers opportunities to young students and potential instructors to undertake nationally recognised training qualifications through the International College of Kenshusei. The ICK provide professional support, deliver curriculum modules and liaise with government to give the trainees a comprehensive quality education. I encourage other instructors to allow their students a similar opportunity to build their future in partnership with International College of Kenshusei.

I have been involved in the fitness industry as a professional fitness instructor, strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer for over 15 years. During this time I have attended many courses, lectured by many of Australia’s leading sports and exercise scientists. For many years I have been studying Wing Chun with Grand Master Jim Fung’s International Wing Chun Academy. I now hold the position of State Manager for his Academy and can say with confidence that we always strive to deliver excellence in all areas.
In 2004 I decided to further my education by studying for a diploma qualification with the International College of Kenshusei, I found the lectures to be very up to date and informative. Student resources included workbooks for different subject matter. Student workbooks were exceptional in format, covering all topics required, in a method which requires the student to research information from various sources to complete the workbook. I found this method of learning both stimulating and fun. Lectures were also professional, friendly, informative and assisted with any questions or problem solving.
To summarise, I found the International College of Kenshusei to be a company of high standards with the best interest of the martial arts students and teaching personnel at heart. The organisation present a highly interesting and resourceful course study.

Having completed all of the components of the New Horizon course for senior instructors and the security industry Baton and Handcuff course, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for all your support and allowing me to be part of this exciting new process surrounding the martial arts industry.
I was able to meet with world renowned martial artists from various disciplines, with no prejudice or snobbery. We were all students and shared may anecdotes and experiences that in turn made learning more enjoyable and more efficient.
The whole course was conducted in a professional and ethical manner and your approach to teaching, proves to me that the values of the martial arts are still upheld strongly. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending your college to any of my students and other martial arts instructors.

As a practitioner of self-defence for 30yrs (judo, Pangration, submission fighting), no other training & education system has made me feel more compete as a coach and trainer. As one of the first kenshusei students in Australia to complete all the sports coaching qualifications & secure recognition from the Australian Sports Commission, I can guarantee that all practitioners of martial arts would benefit from completing this advanced system of coaching. It’s a system that is hand on all the way and to the point of practical use that will be used every day you are in your sport. The International College of Kenshusei sports coaching is a must for all developing martial arts coaches.
